"The soul purpose of my politics is to serve the people of Gilgit-Baltistan. Resolution of the issue of nationalism and restoration of identity of the region is goal of my life. Federal political parties got no solution for the basic and human rights of people of Gilgit-Baltistan. Interests of people of Gilgit-Baltistan can not be sacrificed for mere a ticket of the federal parties," Manzoor Parwana who is an independent candidate for upcoming elections expressed these views during a meeting with local representatives of Istak village.
"I will participate as an independent candidate in upcoming elections, and I will face off with all political and religious parties. There is much probablity that the "religion card" will influence the upcoming elections, whereas PMLN and PPP will be knocked out. PTI and other political parties have not done any homework so far, PTI, MQM and other political parties will support me," He claimed.
"The federal political and religious parties are planning to affect GB elections by using influence and money at large scale to buy the conscience of masses", He added.
